Story Land Health & Safety Measures

Working Together to Avoid COVID-19

The health and safety of our Guests and Team Members is our top priority. In these unprecedented times, we have implemented enhanced health and safety measures to help protect everyone. But we can’t do it alone. We are counting on everyone’s efforts to do their part by cooperating with these new measures that are designed to keep every person visiting and/or working at Castle Park healthy and safe.

Guest Responsibilities

  • In accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission. Unvaccinated individuals should wear a mask indoors and outdoors.
  • Wash hands often with soap and water
  • Avoid touching your face

Guests should familiarize themselves with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and evaluate their risk in determining whether they should attend our facilities. If you or a family member are ill or think that you may be getting ill, please postpone your visit until you are well.

By visiting our facility, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Here are the specific steps we’re taking in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Hand Cleansing

Asking everyone to wash hands often with soap and water.

Social Distancing

Ground markers for social distancing of six feet between travel parties.

Hand Sanitizer

Those not fully vaccinated should wear a mask at all times, except while eating, drinking or on a water ride.

Planning a Visit

In order to comply with key health and safety measures surrounding limiting capacity, social distancing, and touch-free payment, planning a visit to Story Land will look different this summer.

  • Guests with day tickets will need to register for the date they wish to visit in advance, in addition to their regularly purchased ticket. If you were required to choose a day of visit at the time of purchase, your ticket is your reservation and you do not need to make a separate reservation. Season Passholders are not required to make reservations to visit the park.
  • The Reservation System for 2021 is available. Reserve Now
  • If the date you wish to visit is not listed in our store's online calendar, we have already reached our capacity limit for that date, and you will need to choose another day.

While we are committed to enhanced standards in an effort to keep you as healthy and safe as possible, there remains an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place and any place where people are present. People who do not show symptoms can still spread COVID-19. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and persons with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable and at higher risk for severe illness. Guests should familiarize themselves with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and evaluate their risk in determining whether they should attend our facilities. If you or a family member are ill or think that you may be getting ill, please postpone your visit until you are well.

Story Land reserves the right to require a Guest to leave if the Guest is (i) using profanity, offensive or threatening language towards our Team Members or other Guests and/or (ii) violating any other Park Rules.
