Wonderfully Themed Rides
A ride in a pumpkin coach, an antique car, or a pirate ship can turn into a lifelong memory for a young child. Story Land's 21 rides generally are designed for parents and children to enjoy together. We encourage parents to join their children wherever possible to help ensure that everyone rides safely.

Participation on Story Land's rides is included in the pay-one-price admission fee of $24 per person, ages 3 and above. Story Land will be open for our 55th season in 2008, from Memorial Day Weekend to Columbus Day.

Ride Participation Policies
For your safety and enjoyment ride participation is based on manufacturers' restrictions, industry standards, and the independent review of ride & safety consultants. For your safety, exceptions are not possible.

Participants of all ages must properly use all ride safety equipment. Guests with body features (including height, weight, and muscle control) that may prevent safety restraints from operating as designed may be denied access to specific rides. Height measurement stations and other safety guidelines are posted at each ride.

Any children under 48 inches tall must be accompanied on all of Story Land's rides by a responsible guest (a fully competent caregiver who meets the ride participation polices). Riders must be at least 36 inches tall to ride the Polar Coaster, Crazy Barn, Dr. Geyser's Remarkable Raft Ride, and the Flying Fish.

We strive to provide a safe, fun, comfortable experience for all guests and staff, and we value your cooperation. Each parent and guardian is responsible for the supervision and actions of the children under their care while visiting Story Land. We ask that all ride participants use good judgment and act responsibly when accepting the risks inherent in participating in or on an amusement ride. We reserve the right to deny access to anyone who does not comply with established guidelines, or exhibits impairment by alcohol or drugs.

Guests using wheelchairs may remain seated in their wheelchairs to experience the Buccaneer Ship, Huff Puff & Whistle Railroad, Carousel, and Great Balloon Chase rides. Guests must transfer from wheelchairs independently or with assistance from members of their party to participate on other rides. Bamboo Chutes riders must be able to walk on their own to load, unload, and balance properly while riding.
