Story Land is rounding out its busy summer season with a lineup of fantastic and fun fall events!

Fall at Story Land

The beginning of Story Land’s fall season is marked by the annual Food Truck Week, back by popular demand! Visit August 27-31, and try something new at Chez Rafiki’s, Dueling Chefs Smoke’n’Grille, Kimberly’s Gluten Free Kitchen, or Teddy’s Lunchbox. Food Trucks will be located near the middle of the park and will be serving food and fun from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

On Monday, September 3rd, kids 13 and under can race their way around Story Land and earn their admission for the day! Participation in the Kids Fun Run presented by Memorial Hospital and Story Land requires a $10 donation to the Believe in Books Literacy Foundation. There are race categories for children through age 13, and all participants receive a race medal, t-shirt, and their admission to Story Land for that day. Registration begins at 8:15 am on race day, and the first race begins at 9:00am.

Story Land and One Mission are again partnering for the second annual Scavenger Hunt to Grant a Fairytale on Saturday, September 22nd. A $10 donation to One Mission gets each participant a card filled with fun activities – everything from taking a selfie with Tinkerbell to uncovering a fossil at Dig-M Deeper play area! Guests can turn in their completed scavenger hunt cards for a ticket to come back to Story Land in 2019. All donations go directly to One Mission’s goal to do “whatever it takes to get kids through cancer”.

Story Land’s 65th season wraps up on Monday, October 8th, with a pumpkin carving demonstration by professional William Janelle, whose carvings are true pieces of art.
